August, 2006

Several employees of an international marketing firm had unexpectedly quit and went to form their own competing form. Suspicious of their intentions, the marketing firm asked Doc1 Solutions to examine their company laptops and email servers to look for evidence in inappropriate activity.

Doc1 was able to recover a significant amount of relevant data from the employees' laptop computers which indicated they were planning on leaving for several months. Additionally, the employees were planning on stealing valuable intellectual property prior to their departure. Even though much of this data was deleted by the former employees', Doc1 was able to recover and reconstruct a significant amount of the E-mails, documents, and chat conversations.
